We are super excited to announce our AMP Sport development team has successfully completed the training center feature updates on all our current client platforms.
This feature update was developed in consultation with our AMP Sport coaches and sports scientists in the field.
Some of the new feature updates include:
The AMP Sport training center updates enhance training program design by allowing coaches to quickly make adjustments to an individuals training plan as needed after reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs) within the AMP Sport training center.

Over the past couple of months we have been working on updates to the current AMP platform to enhance the user experience. In the coming week we will be deploying to all of our current clients an updated training center where training sessions can easily be scheduled, monitored and shared live to every member of an athlete’s performance team regardless of sport or coach/athlete location.
Currently we are successfully sharing daily athlete training statistics, training diaries and video clips from the USSA Regional camps being held in LaParva, Chile with athletes from the Rocky Central and Western Regions of USSA. For the first time the home club coaches can see first hand the progress their athletes are making at a USSA regional training camp with daily updates. Opening up communication lines between regional staff and club coaches was one of the main reasons to implement the AMP platform at the regional levels because it will foster positive athletic development.
A long term development perspective was best explained in a blog post from Luke Bodensteiner, EVP Athletics for USSA, ”Long-term data histories will provide coaches a much more complete picture of an athlete’s capabilities and preparedness when they graduate up into more advanced teams and work with new coaches. They will inform talent identification and even refine performance projections. And they will provide critical feedback to coaches back down the line, which can be used to improve programs for the next set of athletes coming up the line.”

Last week we touched on the newly updated share instantly feature in our AMP Sport platforms. The share instantly feature gives individuals with an AMP Sport profile the ability to instantly upload photos, files, videos, etc… The files are immediately tagged to the individual AMP Sport profiles, eliminating the multiple steps needed to tag content to athletes! The second step to streamlining this process involved optimizing the AMP Sport Platform for use on portable devices (Apple, Android, Windows) when using the home screen button.
The two updates will save time for coaches, athletes, and program directors! A coach can sign into AMP Sport using their home screen button from their portable devices; scroll down to the share instantly feature in their athletes AMP Sport profile page; then drag, drop or browse for files to share instantly. The file will immediately show up in the athletes profile, no extra work required! This is a great feature update for coaches, athletes, program directors who cannot use our current Apple apps.
